Update log

New entries are added only when a build actually ships. There are no planned dates on this page, because a date that slips is worse than no date.

How an update reaches your phone

1. When the app opens with a connection, it asks the server whether anything has changed.
2. If a new build exists, it downloads in the background while you keep playing the current one.
3. The next time you open the app, the new build is in place. Nothing to tap, nothing to reinstall.

The pages you open while online are always fetched fresh, so most changes show up straight away. Pictures and code files are kept for longer, because each version gets new file names and an old file can never be mistaken for a new one.

What an update never touches

• Your player profile (name, badge colour, totals).
• Your best score in Classic, Sprint 60 and Zen.
• Your sound and mode settings.

These live in your browser’s local storage, apart from the app files. The only thing that removes them is clearing this site’s data yourself, or removing the app on iPhone, where the icon carries its own storage.

Stuck on an old version?

It is rare, but if the version number above does not match the newest entry in the log:

1. Close the app completely (swipe it away from recent apps) and open it again while online.
2. On a computer, close every tab and window of the site, then reopen it.
3. As a last resort, clear the site data in your browser settings. Copy your player code from the profile page first, because clearing data removes the profile too.
